Bernardo's Foothills: Indulge in Yuma's Best Cheesesteaks, Pizza, and Hoagies

While visiting my daughter in Yuma, Bernardo's came up in my feed. We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly. The food was delicious. The portions were large. My daughter said she will definitely be back and was happy to find a new place to eat out.

i got the cheese steak sandwich and it was so bomb!! highly recommend coming here the service was really quick and everyone was super friendly!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stopped here during a long drive and shared this amazing stuffed bread roll (see photo) — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying! For just $25 total for two people, it was plenty of food and absolutely delicious. Perfect place for a quick, high-quality bite on the road. Highly recommend if you’re passing through!

Is this the same Sam Bernardo who started in that foothills shopping place in the mid '80s? If so, I painted your windows at your 1st restaurant. I was stationed in Yuma and painted windows on the side. Update: I'm currently not in Yuma,but was playing around on Google Maps and seen your new location. Congratulations on all your success. Whenever I do make my way back to Yuma I will definitely stop by for some amazing food& hospitality!

Close to the I-8 on Fortuna Road. Family owned business. Clean restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining. Order and pay at counter. The staff assisted us with selection as it was our first visit. Our party was very happy with our meal! Menu offers pizza, sandwiches, and Stromboli. We ordered pizza and Stromboli. The pizza toppings were generous. The crust crisp and evenly baked. The flavors delicious! The homemade sauce is delicious! First time trying Stromboli. The Steak Stromboli with a side of peppers and sauce as accoutrements was delicious! The associate informed us they allow patrons to bring their own beer and wine. They do close at 6pm. Evening dining would have to be call in before closing time, pick up (or delivery service) and dine at home with the family. They had a lot of people coming for pick up during our time there. We will return!

Edit: I should've called instead I know, but Do Not order pickup through Grubhub. Not only did I pay $4 more per Hoagie, they didn't even start the food until I got there. Why even order pickup if they wait for you to arrive to make it?! Just a warning to not be an idiot like me. CALL THEM directly! and save the extra money! Also, I got 2 containers of peppers and they seemed a little off and were not as good as usual. My husband likes the steak hoagie. I like the stromboli with tons of peppers. I love their peppers! I can never walk out of there without buying at least 2 jars lol..which don't last me very long sadly

We ordered the meatball subs, and boy, did we get meatball subs! Lol. We got there around 11am, there were a few people seated. Service was quick and with a smile. The subs were really filling and tasted good. We each ordered one and ended bringing one home, they were that big. Definitely get your money's worth, in this instance.

I sadly have lived in Yuma for 2 years and I think about it their pizza and Stromboli everyday. Real people real food a their green stuff is amazing if you like spicy food!
